Preventative Network Maintenance
Optimum Technologies will perform routine network maintenance and troubleshooting when needed. The Optimum Technologies staff will ensure the network is running at optimal performance and will monitor network traffic.
Evaluation of Network
A complete evaluation of the network, servers, computers and any hardware will take place. Recommendations will be provided following the assessment.
Coordination and management of software/hardware repair as necessary
If a computer infrastructure problem exists, Optimum Technologies will try and identify the problem and resolve it. If the problem cannot be handled by Optimum Technologies, the staff will contact the appropriate manufacturers to receive support or contact other support vendors who can troubleshoot the problem. Optimum Technologies will coordinate the repair schedule with any third party vendor.
Software Installation
Software installations can be performed on desktop computers, laptop computers, servers, and mobile devices. This includes, but is not limited to, operating systems, and software packages.
New Server/Computer Hardware Setup
Optimum Technologies can assist in the procurement and setup of any new server, computer hardware, or other mobile device. Optimum Technologies will evaluate whether new hardware should be directly purchased or bought from a vendor, and arrange for appropriate hardware setup and installation needs.
Recommendations for new software/hardware purchases
The staff will offer recommendations for new software or hardware. Optimum Technologies will utilize our network of vendors and explore all options prior to a purchase and ask for quotations and estimates as needed.
Anti-Virus/Spyware/Malware support and Virus/Spyware removal
Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware software will be maintained and updated. If a virus is able to bypass the software/firewall in place, Optimum Technologies will perform the necessary tasks for removing the virus. New virus prevention techniques will be recommended when appropriate.
Firewall upgrades/monitoring and VPN (Virtual Private Network) deployment
The firewall is the most important line of defense for external network intrusion. It also plays a big role in allowing secure remote connections into the network from staff. It is essential to maintain the firewall with the latest firmware upgrades and to ensure that it is properly functioning and keeping out any potential intrusions.
Backup/Restore Maintenance and Monitoring
The backup system will be maintained on a regular basis. Optimum Technologies will assist in data recovery, as needed. In addition, the firm has extensive remote backup operations that will be maintained and tested. Additional backup methods will be recommended as needed.
Security updates for desktops/servers
All desktop/laptop computers and servers will be kept up-to-date with the latest security patch releases from software vendors. The security of the systems is a main priority and will be monitored on a regular basis.
Email deployment
If an email system exists, Optimum Technologies will help to maintain it and deploy new accounts as necessary. This includes the maintenance and deployment of iOS devices (iPhone, iPad), and other mobile devices.
Wireless Network Maintenance
If a wireless network exists, Optimum Technologies will help to maintain it and deploy new computers on the wireless network. If there is not a wireless network in place, options will be offered as required.
Setup and Maintenance of Tablet/Mobile Devices
Optimum Technologies will help maintain and setup any tablet devices including iPads and other mobile devices and offer training as necessary.
Third Party Vendor Consultations
Optimum Technologies will work with third party vendors to review new proposed technologies or solutions that are being considered.
Software Training
Training can be offered on several different software packages, such as Microsoft Office, and other software available that requires instruction.
Hardware Training
When new computer hardware is deployed or implemented, Optimum Technologies staff will offer training on the use of the new hardware.
Remote support
Optimum Technologies will provide support remotely as needed, using the latest VPN
(Virtual Private Network) and remote access technologies. Optimum Technologies
will always first try and correct any network issue remotely and will respond on site as
needed.
